The VBMT160404-H is a premium 35° diamond, positive-rake carbide turning insert engineered specifically for ISO H-Class materials (hardened steels). Combining a highly rigid substrate with the specialized -H reinforced chipbreaker, this insert effectively solves the most critical challenges in hard turning: edge chipping, poor chip breaking, and extreme cutting heat. It is the ideal high-efficiency choice for profiling and finish-to-semi-finish turning in mold making, automotive gear production, and heavy-duty machinery components.
