TNGA160408-CD6100 PCBN Turning Insert
The TNGA160408-CD6100 is a high-performance Polycrystalline Cubic Boron Nitride (PCBN) tool engineered for the most demanding machining environments. Utilizing the CD6100 grade—a high-concentration CBN composite—this insert is specifically designed to handle high-speed continuous cutting and moderate interrupted cuts in hardened ferrous materials.
The $60^\circ$ triangular (TNGA) geometry provides maximum edge strength and versatility for both longitudinal turning and facing operations.
Applications
Workpiece Materials: Hardened Steel (HRC 45–65), Case Hardened Steel, Bearing Steel, Tool Steel, and High-Strength Cast Iron.
